Among the big omissions from Britney’s marriage are: virtually all of her family members, largely due to the aftermath she had with them after her long guardianship battle.
The only exception originally seemed to be his brother, Bryan, though he later said in a since-deleted rage-fueled Instagram post (via Page Six) that his older brother wasn’t actually invited, adding : “GO TO THE SHIT Bryan .”
Another unexpected guest at the ceremony was Spears’ ex-husband, Jason Allen Alexandera childhood friend whom she briefly married in a controversial 2004 wedding before calling off the wedding days later.
18 years later, Alexander caused quite a bit of chaos by crashing his ex-wife’s third marriage and going live on Instagram before being pulled over and arrested by police outside.
As a result of this series of unexpected events, Spears cuts even more people out of her already chaotic life.
Britney Spears fires her security team
In light of her inability to restrain ex-husband Jason Allen Alexander before he entered their home, Britney Spears fired her entire security team shortly after the break-in, according to TMZ. They were replaced by a new group of security guards.
Alexander, who already has a troubled history with the law, was slapped with a series of charges by a Los Angeles judge, including one count of criminal harassment, and given a three-year restraining order against Spears.
Spears’ decision to fire her security team continues a streak of her (understandably) cutting several people from her life after their direct roles in a series of traumatic events.
In light of her 13 years of guardianship, Spears has all but cut her primary family members from her life, even threatening legal action against her father for financial misconduct and her sister Jamie Lynn Spears for alleged defamation on her behalf. “Things I should have said”.
Her children, Sean and Jayden Federline, ages 16 and 15, did not attend the wedding, although she appears to be on good terms with them and, in fact, continues to raise them.
Spears and her new husband, Sam Asghari, are currently trying for their third child, so it’s possible we’ll continue to see their family grow, despite the setbacks.
