“In the press it came out that he was my partner…I’ll clarify…It came out that he was my partner, in others that he wasn’t. In fact, I was no longer with him”, were part of Ruth Gamarra’s remarks about the death of Jairo Sepúlveda, which occurred last December, when he fell from the terrace of his apartment, on the twelfth floor.
“It is presumed that it was an accident and that the person lost his balance due to the type of injuries,” the PDI homicide squad reported at the time.
Meanwhile, this week, the 44-year-old model and communicator brought up the subject during a Space Chapter that José Miguel Viñuela streams on Instagram.
This was part of the conversation:
Jose Miguel Vinuela: “I wanted to move on to a more sensitive subject, which is what unfortunately happened in your apartment, where a person fell and lost their life. Obviously for you, from that moment life must have changed, but from heaven to earth”
Ruth Gamarra: “It’s a trauma, I was bad for several months. I stopped working for six months because it was something very strong. But things happened and it came out in the press … »
vinuela: “Are you healed today?”
Gamarra: “Yes I’m fine. In the press it came out that he was my partner… I’ll clarify it… It came out that he was my partner, in others it wasn’t. I don’t I wasn’t really with him anymore.”
vinuela: “Wasn’t he your official partner?”
Gamarra: “No more now”
vinuela: “But did you know him?”
Gamarra“Yes of course. Actually, he came to my house because we were doing karaoke. I love his family very much. I really feel his family as mine, because I am very close to them.
“And out of respect for the family, I never went out to clarify the events. What hurt me was that, for example, I went on vacation in April with my sisters in Miami, and everyone criticized why I was on vacation if this had happened. Whether I was with him or not, everyone is grieving”
vinuela: “I remember when you published a video where you were very desperate because the Investigating Police had taken your mobile phone, which is ultimately your work tool”
Gamarra: “Yes, it happened in December, and I had a fair in Maitencillo in January and February. I lost the fair because I didn’t have contact with my contractors and unfortunately I had no support.
“But hey, it was a stage, I suffered a lot, I was with a psychiatrist, but thank God I had the support of my family, his family too”
vinuela“How was this period for you? How to deal with such a situation? I find it very hard”
Gamarra“The first few days, I couldn’t get out of bed. Other than that it was so awful. TV news was under my house all day. I didn’t even want to look out on the balcony. A friend came out to say I wasn’t there, but that was a lie, I was, that was to get them to leave me alone.
“After everyone asked me. I started having panic attacks, which I had never had in my life. Horrible. This part was awful.
“And whether they like it or not, even if people say, or whether I’ve been with him or not, it was equal trauma, it happened to me. I spent many months without being able to get out of bed and unable to work.
“I started working now, just two months ago. And working has helped me a lot, apart from the fact that I’m passionate about what I do. And my grandchildren, my daughter. So thank God I got cured and it helped me a lot to get back to my normal life.
