Microsoft is launching new Surface devices for Windows 11 users

Microsoft has released new Surface devices and new apps designed to work with the Windows 11 operating system.

Surface Laptop 5, Surface Pro 9, Surface Studio 2+ and Microsoft Designer and Image Creator applications combine innovation, artificial intelligence and the cloud to provide Windows 11 users with a true experience by increasing the level of creativity and productivity.

Launched 7 years ago, Surface Laptop has become one of the most popular products in this range.

Slim, with a sleek design and extended all-day battery life, the new Surface Laptop 5 is 50% more powerful than its predecessor, thanks to the Intel Evo platform.

The new Microsoft laptop is available in two versions: with a diagonal of 13.5″ and 15″ and a PixelSense screen, and Dolby Vision IQ offers the best image thanks to vivid colors and strong contrast in all lighting conditions.

The sound system is perfectly tuned, and the HD front camera and dual microphones record realistically, even adjusting the camera’s exposure in difficult lighting conditions.

The new Surface Pro 9 2-in-1 tablet raises the bar again, after products from this range have become a source of inspiration and innovation. Surface Pro 9 comes in a new set of anodized colors, and the screen can be used as a work stand, diary, editing base and cinema screen at the same time. Surface Pro 9 features an HD camera, Omnisonic speakers, directional microphones and a custom G6 chip that completely changes the way users can use digital ink.

In terms of technical performance, Surface Pro 9 offers a choice between the 12th generation Intel Core processor built on the Intel Evo4 platform with Thunderbolt 4 and the Microsoft SQ 3 ARM processor supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform with 5G connectivity.

An Intel Core processor means more power for multitasking, full desktop productivity and intensive workloads – delivering up to 50% more performance than Surface Pro 8.

On the other hand, the Microsoft SQ 3 processor offers a fast 5G connection and a battery life of up to 19 hours.

In addition, it provides access to new AI features thanks to the all-new NPU that helps us connect with each other more easily. Capable of performing more than 15 trillion calculations per second, the new NPU leads to new experiences with Windows Studio Effects.

Surface Studio 2+ is an improved version of the all-in-1 desktop Surface Studio 2. To meet new work demands, the new Studio 2+ enjoys an updated Intel Core H-35 processor with up to 50% faster CPU performance.

Surface Studio 2+ offers twice the graphics performance for 3D modelers. The screen, cameras, dual microphone system and ports have also been improved and upgraded – including USB-C with Thunderbolt 4. For now, the Surface Studio 2+ is only available in Poland, among CEE markets.

Microsoft publishes Microsoft Designer and Image Creator

Microsoft Designer is a new graphics application in Microsoft 365, an example of the power of artificial intelligence in the cloud. Using DALL-E 2, Microsoft Designer helps users create graphics based on their own ideas and content, but also quickly design posts on social networks, invitations.

It also enables unique images and graphics generated by artificial intelligence for each individual user. This technology, including DALL-E, will soon be introduced on the Bing and Edge platforms with the help of the Image Creator application, so that words can be used to create, not just search.

New accessories for the full Windows 11 experience

With the launch of products such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller and Surface Adaptive Kit or the new accessibility features built into Windows 11, Microsoft fulfills its mission to help every person in the world achieve more with the help of the technological solutions it creates.

The company has also created two new plug-ins to improve the experience of users participating in hybrid business meetings: Microsoft Presenter+ and Microsoft Audio Dock.

  • Microsoft Presenter+ is a team-compatible remote control that becomes a powerful presentation tool during business meetings. Microsoft Presenter+ makes it easy to present slides, mute/unmute sound, direct audience attention with an on-screen pointer, and quickly access a meeting, whether in Microsoft Teams or other similar applications.
  • With four different ports (HDMI, USB-C x2 and USB-A) and a PC charger, along with the Microsoft Audio Dock, users can reorganize their desktop; In addition, built-in Omnisonic speakers provide superior sound quality, and dual microphones reduce noise for better audio during online meetings.

This accessory will be available from October 25 in selected markets (for now only in Poland among CEE countries).
